Shot on Kodak Film
There are a number of opportunities for the films to team up with brands.
Because the characters are passionate about photography, fashion, basketball, bicycles, music, the film will feature products that fulfill these passions. This makes it helpful for the production to find partners for financing and integrate it into the marketing of the film.
BRANDS FEATURED
As product placements becomes a bigger business, we look to feature some of the blue chip companies that are a part of our everyday lives, as an opportunity to get more financial security as well as partner with them to market their role within the film.
THINKING AHEAD:
MERCH!
Films these days have to think more creatively when it comes to marketing and exposure. Casting big names certainly helps, but indie films have begun to think about merchandising their films just like Star Wars and Barbie.
But instead of action figures, films will create merchandise based on their film’s themes and use the strategies of the fashion industry to build excitement and anticipation about the film both before and after the film's release.
By collaborating with other artists, the sense of exclusivity and being in the "in-group" of film lovers, as well as artistic items are the tenets of what we've built our merchandise market towards.
We want to illustrate the ways we’re thinking of marketing this film with some of the examples shown here.

FILM’S MISSION
With director Aaron Murray Vazquez's Mexican heritage, Texan roots, and Brooklyn upbringing, he's understood the value of a balanced, diverse production as well as a opportunity build paths into filmmaking.
Because the message of the film is about black and brown communities NOWHERE TO GO will be a indie film with be looking to cast largely black and brown talent, and creatives.
We want to take the baton from filmmakers like Jordan Peele, Spike Lee, Alfonso Cuarón, and focus on the pockets unseen in mainstream films and build a filmmaking pipeline with this production and future productions.
NOWHERE TO GO has a goal of booking more black and brown actors and crew members in order to build a bigger roster of talent across the entertainment spectrum.
