PROOF?

Our production team, Blue Camelot Films, finish a proof-of-concept short film that revolves around scenes from the feature and the central thesis of the film:

Will Kidé give up his passion or risk it all to go down a path that takes him out of the place he loves?

Written & directed by Aaron Murray Vazquez, the short film stars 3x platinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, and long time collaborator, Ro James as enigmatic the “Zeke” and introduces newcomer I.J. Meach as photography phenom “Kidé”. 

The film also features a score from multi Grammy Award winning composer Joao Gonzalez which added complexity and beauty in a story about a rougher neighborhood. 

We were thrilled to finish the entire production of our short in 1 month, just in time for festival season and has already been accepted in to over 12 festivals, and earning 5 honors. Additionally, CATHAY PACIFIC has secured the license for the short.
